The Master of Science in Data Science degree at UNT is designed to prepare graduates with the knowledge and skills to design and construct processes for data production and modeling. Through an array of classes that provide a balance between the fundamentals in data science and relevant core areas, students will be able to leverage their knowledge to manipulate, explore, organize, and analyze data to help drive decision-making within organizations and find innovative solutions to problems.

With its home in the College of Information, students will have access to college-related events and opportunities aimed at ensuring the success and development of our students. From a designated career coach, mentorship program, and professional networking and learning events, students will have various opportunities to gain a competitive edge. Students will learn from our diverse faculty who have extensive industry and research experience and bring knowledge in areas such as data science and engineering, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
