Coursera Certificates

A new process for using Coursera certificates for credit towards your BAAS degree will go into effect on October 1, 2023. Any transcripts received after 10/1/23 will be evaluated under the new guidelines which may result in fewer credit hours being awarded than in the past.

If you have Coursera certificate learning that will not be complete in time to have the transcript to UNT by 10/1/23 (3-weeks average) and you have planned to use that credit as a concentration, we recommend that you reach out to your advisor (BAASCoursera@unt.edu). If you have general questions about these changes or this process, please post in InScribe.

More information about the new credit hour determinations will be shared in mid-October, after the approval process is complete.
