Courses

UNT offers certification as an Educational Diagnostician through an online venue.  The Educational Diagnostician certificate may be earned concurrently with a Master of Special Education or as a certification-only option if the candidate already has a master's degree.  The M.Ed. in Special Education program consists of 33 hours all of which are available online.  Some Saturday seminars are required of the two practicum courses.  Though you can begin coursework any semester, begin taking courses in the summer, and the coursework can be completed in 15 months:  Begin one summer and graduate the next summer
